Dubbelju Day Trip: Touring The Sonoma Coast

The Windmill Ride — Exploring The Wild Sonoma Coast

The pre-ride festivities begin on Friday evening at 7:00 PM 4/12 with dinner at Dubbelju Motorcycle Rentals in the Mission District in San Francisco. This will give us time to take care of the rental paperwork, meet the other riders, and share riding stories over a beer and dinner.

On Saturday morning 4/13 at 7:45 AM we will meet for fresh coffee and pastries at Dubbelju. At 8:00 AM we will head north out of the city over the Golden Gate Bridge and escape to some of the best small, winding back roads in California. We will follow famous Highway 1 along the San Andreas fault up to Point Reyes Station for breakfast at the Station Café.

After breakfast we’ll continue heading north on Highway 1 as it winds along the pacific coast. We’ll pass through the town of Jenner where the Russian River flows into the Pacific Ocean at nearby Goat Rock Beach.

A few miles further north on the wild Sonoma coast we will stop at Fort Ross for a special private tour of a replica of the Fort Ross windmill. The original windmill was the first windmill west of Mississippi.

After our windmill tour we will head back to San Francisco on some twisty back roads through West Marin County.

The price of $125 includes dinner on Friday 4/12 and the private windmill tour on Saturday 4/13. As a special bonus you will receive a 20% discount on your rental price. Fuel, Breakfast and lunch are not included.

Reserve your spot as availability is limited!
