Used Motorcycles for Sale
First, a few words about the condition of our equipment. All advertised vehicles are technically and operationally sound; furthermore, they are factory original (very important for vehicle inspection and licensing out-of-country). Components which show even a trace of wear or fatigue are replaced. In other words, you receive a motorcycle which, while it may have some miles on the odometer, has been routinely and expertly maintained.

“Wolfgang sold me the bike of my dreams. For years I’ve been circling the BMW GS and always found my way to some other machine because of experience, cost or whatever makes you take a slow road to the better decision.
Count your lucky stars if you know a GS owner willing let you take theirs for even a short ride. I was not that kind of fortunate and, truthfully, I’m kind of frugal so renting one was a last resort. But one day, at the urging of a friend (“just do it, you cheapskate” he said), I found myself in Wolfgang’s shop picking up a 2016 BMW GSW for a weekend ride.
This story could easily turn into an GS adventure story about carving the wooded, twisty roads over mount Tam or rolling up to some oyster shack on scenic Hwy 1 or being a general hooligan with the (amazing!) ESA and engine map settings. But I’ll save you from all that. Just know that I flogged that bike and it said, “is that all you got!?”
I rolled through morning SF traffic to drop off the bike on the saddest Monday I’ve had in years. Truly. The bike that felt so big, so unwieldy on Friday now felt purposeful, capable and even a teensy-weensy bit mine. But wasn’t.
You’ve seen this move a thousand times in movies where the object of desire is just out of focus behind the main action. In my case I’m handing over the keys and off in the distance is a for sale sign on a 2015 model. The world slows down, eyes and heads turn, the corner of my mouth turns into a smirk.
Within days I’m back, skulking about his shop. Wolfgang promises to answer my questions as soon as he finishes zip-tieing Swedish flags on a couple of bikes for a group embarking on a 3000 mile tour through Reno to Bryce Canyon and down to LA. When they’re off he turns to me and smiles like that old friend you haven’t seen in years. While he could have easily slapped the tank of the bike in car salesman-like fashion, instead, Wolfgang wants to have a chat. He asks about my riding experience, my interests, my future riding plans. His manner is so light that it wasn’t until several minutes later that I realize he’s like an expert tailor fitting me with a new suit.
The bike, we confirm, is nearly identical to the model I rode the previous weekend. We confirm some replacements he can make to scratched parts (formerly a rental) and other additions he’s made (side cases, new tires). The service records are all on file with the local BMW shop and now we’re down to price. We walk through each item on a scratchpad. Neither he or I are engaged in some kind of Thunderdome-esque price war. Even my penny-pinching senses were silent — we both knew what the bike was worth. We shake hands on it. Easy peasy.
So the next day, modifications made, I picked up my first BMW R1200 GS. Over the last month it’s been my daily commuter from the east bay to the city, in fog and heatwave. While I’ve made a few personalized modifications I couldn’t be happier to finally have the bike of my dreams.
I say first BMW GS because I have every intention of running this bike all over the world until there’s nothing left of it…and buying another one. Hopefully from Wolfgang.”

“In January of this year we purchased a 2005 RT1200(46K miles) from Wolfgang for a road trip across the States from San Francisco heading south and east to Florida for Daytona Bike Week and then north to Niagara Falls, in all taking in 16 states and covered 9,500 miles, in four months without any mechanical failures or even punctures.
We had a fantastic time and the bike was just perfect. We have to thank Wolfgang for a great deal on the bike and his great recommendations for the roads and places to visit en route. We wouldn't hesitate in buying another bike from Dubbelju for our next trip!”
I was going to get another motorcycle from a private seller at first, but it turned out to be a junk, so I decided to buy one at some dealer in San Francisco. As I checked literally every motorcycle on sale whose price range was 6 to 8k in the city, I can definitely say bikes sold at Dubbelju were the most reasonable. There were a few bikes in my price range at Dubbelju. After debating which to buy for 30min getting advice from shop staff, I chose Triumph Tiger 800.
I talked to the shop owner, Mr. Wolfgang that I was planning cross county trip to Florida by the bike. he told me the recommended route, which contains Big Sur, Sequoia National Forest and Death Valley. I didn’t have almost any knowledge what route to take, the advice was really helpful, and those roads were actually perfect. I thought the bike would need some maintenance in the middle of the trip, but she ran 4,000 miles and took me home without any trouble. The things I did to the bike while I was on trip was changing engine oil once and spraying chain oil several times.
Buying the motorcycle at Dubbelju was one of the best decision during my trip. I really appreciate Mr. Wolfgang and staff.
